Interactive Writing Monitors
A series of walkthroughs videos on how to utilize the Interactive Writing Monitors located in all CPCC Smart Classrooms
Smart Classrooms are specially equipped rooms located throughout CPCC campuses that enable faculty and staff to incorporate multimedia and Internet content into their lectures. Each Smart Classroom has a smart podium equipped with a networked computer, DVD/VCR player, and a ceiling mounted data projector. (Click for a listing of Smart Rooms by Campus) Smart classrooms are also equipped with an Interactive Writing Monitor that allows for Instructors to interact with their presentations using a special pen. Flow!Works is software that is installed on all Interactive Writing Monitor workstations.
Interactive Writing Monitor Software, Flow!Works
Using the Interactive writing monitors, instructors may mark up any open document such as a Powerpoint presentation, MS Word document, spread sheet, or other similar application. Users may also use Flow!Works features to write and draw on the screen. Additionally, users may embed and comment on videos, photos, and other types of files.
